This Barbaqua smoke dried Mate is harvested from the Biodynamic Forests of Gabriel Bolzani and has light smokey notes. Gabriel Bolzani grew up in the city and moved to the rural area in Parana some years ago with his family to learn from the forest. He is passionate and dedicated towards harvesting in harmony with nature and giving back to the origins of the Mate culture.
Since last year he has adopted full moon harvesting mate practices and admits that you can taste the difference.
Harvesting Mate by hand is hard work and as we want to ensure the longevity of this production which is why we believe in working together with our producers and paying them the prices that they ask for.
